Background

Croydon is currently undergoing major redevelopment and over the next few years will see an increased number of people living, working and visiting the area. In order to plan the transport infrastructure required for this growth, it is important that we understand community needs and have accurate information on businesses requirements in the town centre. Business parking is an area of transport infrastructure which we need to consider.
We are writing to all businesses registered within the town centre and Purley Way area to inform them of the upcoming business car parking survey. The information from the survey will enable us to better understand the needs of our business community and help develop Croydon’s long-term transport plans.

Next Steps

Between Monday 29th April and Friday 14th June 2019, Project Centre will be visiting premises to carry out a count of vehicles parked on a typical day. No data regarding the type of vehicles or their registration numbers will be collected. The data is being gathered only for the purpose of Croydon’s research into business parking and will not be shared with third parties.

We would be grateful if you could provide a contact name and/or phone number for our survey team to use when they arrive by emailing us at croydonsurvey@projectcentre.co.uk. You are not obliged to grant access, but it will enable us to carry out a more accurate assessment of the current parking demand. If we do not receive an email confirmation, we will visit your business premise during the period above and ask for the office / facilities manager to see if we can undertake a survey at that time. Alternatively, you can opt to fill the survey below.

We would like to thank you in advance for your cooperation.
